WebThat was never true, axes have always been a really solid pick for both pve and pvp due to their range, mobility and attack speed. Plus, some axes (like Yog's touch, arguably the best weapon in the game) even come with really respectable armor pen. Slap an armor pen kit on there and you're in the money.
