WebDec 27, 2012 · It's perfectly transparent. You get volume control without any squish at all. The BenchPress is a ROSS clone and it gives you the squishy sound effect. I would say the the Opto is not an effect (more of a control) and the BenchPress is a sound effect. MF.com has the BenchPress on sale for $66 now. That's a deal. I like the squash.
