I pulled the chasis to change the caps and noticed that at one point they have been replaced. I don't know when they were replaced, but do you think they could have gone bad already? Webb9 mars 2008 · Just got my 13 inch 20EZ recapped, and it worked wonders. Now I am trying to get the horizontal width right. I have an adjusting tool, but I can't get the width to change at all. The coil originally started out turned clockwise as far as it goes. But no matter how much I turn it counterclockwise, there is no effect on the picture.

I removed all three pots and 1 of them was completely dead unless you turned it to the max. 1 of the other pots was intermittent. These pots were 0-3.3Kohm resistors.
